Kerala PSC Inspector of Legal Metrology Eligibility Criteria 2026
The Kerala PSC Legal Metrology Qualification and eligibility are given here to recheck the requisite conditions. The Kerala PSC Legal Metrology Inspector age limit stipulated by the commission is that the candidates must have a lower age limit of 18 years and an upper age limit of 36 years. That is candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. There is also a provision for age relaxation for other reserved categories.
Qualifications:
- Graduation in Science with Physics as one of the subjects conferred/ recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala.
OR
B.Tech awarded/recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala.
OR
Diploma in Engineering after undergoing a regular course of study of three years with three years professional experience in Central or State Government service or in Public Sector Undertaking or Registered Private Sector Undertaking after acquiring the basic qualification prescribed for the post, in the field of Engineering in which the candidate has earned the Diploma.
Note: [Experience in the department of Legal Metrology shall be considered equivalent to professional experience].
- The candidates should be proficient in speaking, writing, and reading Malayalam as the job requires area-specific work assays and inspection.
