About the Subject – UGC NET Economics

Educational Qualification:
- A Master’s degree in Economics, Applied Economics, Econometrics, or Development Studies from a recognized university.
- PG Final year students also can apply,

Minimum Marks Required:
- General/Unreserved: 55%
- SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Transgender: 50%

Age Limit:
- For JRF: Maximum age 30 years (relaxation applicable)
- For Assistant Professor: No upper age limit
- For PhD only: No upper age limit
